The Hotel Victoria unveils collaboration with renowned local artist Jessica Hogarth for its newly renovated, Loxley Pub.
Iconic Robin Hood’s Bay hotel, the Hotel Victoria has revealed its collaboration with acclaimed illustrator and surface pattern designer, Jessica Hogarth.
Robin Hood’s Bay local, Jessica, has designed the brand of its newly renovated and renamed pub, The Loxley, detailing the breathtaking views that can be seen from the Hotel Victoria’s terrace and garden bar, a view she has never captured before.
The brand design echoes Jessica’s recognisable style which she describes as ‘naïve with a sophisticated edge’ and can be seen on the signage, pub menus and further collateral, creating a distinct and recognisable brand for visitors to enjoy now and in the years to come.
The renovation of the Loxley Pub was a part of the hotel’s six-month refurbishment which has also included the rebranding and renaming of the hotel alongside a redesign of its unique dining and entertainment spaces.
Designed with the quintessential Yorkshire pub experience in mind, The Loxley offers an all-day menu from hearty breakfast dishes to a delicious lunch and evening menu as well as an array of award-winning Yorkshire Ales, local gins and a carefully curated selection of fine wines. The pub welcomes visitors, local residents and hotel guests, and is dog friendly.

Having grown up in Robin Hood’s Bay, the Hotel Victoria has always been a big part of my life, from attending its Monday quiz nights to celebrating special family occasions there, so it feels like a full circle moment to be commissioned for this collaboration”.

The Hotel Victoria is also home to the newly named Osborne’s Restaurant & Lounge Bar, which offers an extensive menu of British and Mediterranean seasonally inspired cuisine, afternoon tea and traditional Sunday lunch.
