A special place.
We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Victoria while doing a recce for a sponsored walk. We’d passed it so often and been in for lunch with the kids when they were little but not experienced it recently, so we decided to try it. We weren’t disappointed! We were really impressed with our lovely view (deluxe sea view room), the cleanliness, the comfortable bed, the excellent food and the friendly, helpful staff. Everything was great, and we got the impression that if anything wasn’t, you only had to ask and it would be sorted. It’s not cheap to stay there but not extortionate, and we felt it was definitely good value for money; the meals were very reasonable. The view from the restaurant was stunning. We loved our stay and are considering returning for a special wedding anniversary in September.
