Step back in time and join us for a wonderfully festive weekend as Robin Hood’s Bay New Victorian Weekend brings the village to life with music, entertainment, traditional festivities and plenty of Christmas cheer.
Here at Hotel Victoria, we’ll be getting into the spirit of the occasion with a warm welcome, twinkling lights, festive food and drink, and a fantastic line-up of live entertainment throughout the weekend.
Live Music & Festive Entertainment
Enjoy the lively sounds of the ever-popular Black Sheep Band in the Loxley Pub, join in with traditional Christmas carols performed by our wonderful local Windmill Choir, and relax to the smooth acoustic sounds of Carl Robinson as his guitar fills the hotel with music.
Our much-loved Biscuit Dunking Competition will also be making a return! How long can you dunk before disaster strikes? The stakes are high and this year the prizes are even better!
We’ll round off the celebrations with a wonderful performance of traditional songs from talented local classical singer James Hutton.

Warm up with the delicious aromas of mulled wine and freshly baked Christmas cake, enjoy a traditional turkey roast, or treat yourself to one of our festive cocktails while soaking up the atmosphere.

The celebrations don’t stop at Hotel Victoria. Throughout the weekend, Robin Hood’s Bay will be buzzing with live music, entertainment, market stalls and local shops, creating a wonderful festive atmosphere throughout the village.
Visitors are encouraged to embrace the occasion and dress in Victorian attire, transforming the winding streets and historic buildings of the Bay into a wonderful reminder of a bygone age.
