Which of Our Spaces Suits Your Wedding?
Most couples marry under the Victorian pergola in our Sea View Garden, with the bay behind them. We’re licensed for indoor and outdoor weddings, so if the weather turns, the whole thing moves into Osborne's Restaurant and you keep the sea view.
Osborne’s Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge takes up to 80 guests for the meal and the evening party, and the private bar stays open until midnight. Drinks usually happen first on our Gartenbar und Terrasse. It’s covered and heated, which tends to matter on this coast, where even a June breeze can have a bite to it.
For 30 guests or fewer, Der Loxley Raum inside our pub feels more like a fireside get-together than a function room. We won’t pretend it stretches, though: past 30 it gets cramped, and Osborne’s is the better fit.
Food has a page of its own. Our Hochzeitsfrühstück menus run from three courses to fish and chips with an ice cream sundae, and you get a free menu tasting before you choose.
What Else Can a Wedding Package Include?
We have 30 beautifully renovated hotel rooms, from cosy rooms for couples, to more spacious family friendly rooms, many with sea or moorland views. Your guests get 15% off their rooms, which is why plenty of couples turn the day into a weekend, starting with a supper the night before. Select packages include our bridal suite.
For photos, our golf buggy runs you and your photographer down into the village, where the cobbled lanes usually do most of the work. If a sea fret rolls in, the old stairwell chandelier and the Victorian tiles in our foyer give you a backup indoors.
You’re welcome to bring your own photographer, florist, DJ or band. Food and drink are the one part we look after ourselves.
